Athlete ß à Lucky Fan
Professional sports athletes are heroes to people of all
ages and many people want to be just like them. But what if you really could
switch places with an athlete for some time. You would get access to whatever
they owned and you get to go through their daily lives just as the other
normally would. The athlete would have to live with the income the other would
normal would and do his normal job. I think living in middle class after living
in high class after so long will open athlete’s eyes a lot. I think it could
even help them become not so greedy for more money. Another lesson I think that
could come from this television show is spending your money wisely. A lot of
players retire then run out of money fast because they spend it so fast on unnecessary
things. These money sprees forces players out of retirement and try to play
again when a lot by then cant due to age and loss of skill. So having such a
small budget when they switch place I think will give them a perspective on
their own spending. On the other side the other person gets to live the star
life for a little bit. Not only do they get to stay at the athletes house are
use their stuff, but they get to try the athletes sport as well. They got see
do their work out to see how hard the athletes train daily to play on the
professional level. Then they get first hand at a scrimmage type set game where
the non athlete has to play the position as the athlete would normally. I
believe that this would show how hard athletes really work for the money they
earn. With a lot of fans mindsets on the focus that they get paid too much,
hopefully people can get a better understanding of what they do. Also seeing conditions
of families it will inspire the athletes to want to help out many causes. At
the end of two weeks the two who switched places must meet and discuss what
they have learned. This series would be funny but also a family show for the
kids to learn life lessons as well.
